You may know Dash Nekrasova from the hugely successful TV series Succession in which she plays Comfry, a thirty-something crisis public relations rep tasked with helping Kendall Roys impulsive whistleblower meltdown into a campaign that will win him control of Waystar Royco, as well as the apple of cousin Greggs eye. Or perhaps you know her from Red Scare, the cultural commentary podcast she co-hosts with fellow bohemian layabouts Anna Khachiyan, or you may know her from her career in independent films, as an actor, a writer and a director. From co-writing and co-staring with Eugene Kotlyarenko in films such as Wobble Palace, to her directorial debut with Scary of Sixty-First. For us here at Deeper, Dasha is one of our favourite filmmakers working today, and an inspiration for our troublemaking sense of purpose.
